Discussion and possible action to approve a 12-month agreement (effective October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026) between Webb County for the benefit of the Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI & Juvenile Drug Court Programs and Amistad Consultation and Evaluation Services in the amount not to exceed Twenty Eight Thousand Dollars ($28,000.00). Amistad Consulting and Evaluation Services are listed in each grant for a total not to exceed ($28,000.00). Dr. Todd Russell and Drew Russell will service the U.S. HHS SAMHSA DWI Court grant for a total not to exceed $8,000.00 per year. The Juvenile Drug Court Program U.S. DOJ OJJDP grant for a total amount not to exceed $20,000.00 per year. DWI and Juvenile Drug Courts team have access to professional evaluation of the courts and consulting; as listed and approved on the grant's application and authorize the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. All required documents were sent for review through Economic Development and the solicitation is compliant with the Webb County single point of contact (SPOC) procedures. [DWI Court Account #2356-2070-003-432001; Juvenile Drug Court Account #2355-2070-001-432001 Professional Services] 

Issue: Webb County Court-at-Law II operates The DWI & Juvenile Drug Courts programs.

Solution: Evaluation and Consulting services will assist the DWI & Juvenile Drug Courts team monitor grant's compliance.

Result: Obtaining the services by Amistad Consulting and Evaluation Services is a key component of grant requirements.

Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI & Juvenile Drug Courts grants work closely with Amistad Consulting and Evaluation Services since the inception of both courts.
