Discussion and possible action to ratify the authorization of a resolution and the submission of the Webb County HWY 59 Colonias Water Infrastructure Project funding application to the North American Development Bank (NADBank) under the Border Environment Infrastructure Fund (BEIF) in a project cost amount not to exceed THIRTY MILLION DOLLARS ($30,000,000); and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents including a Resolution; and any other matters incident thereto. The Local Match Amount will be determined by the NADBank as part of the funding package. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation is compliant with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Procedures.
 
Issue: At a meeting with NADBank held on March 26, 2026 it was requested that the application submitted by Legacy Water Supply Corporation needed to be submitted by Webb County as they are the applicant. A resolution was requested for the funding application as well.
 
Solution: Ratify the approval of the submission of the funding application and authorization of the adjoining resolution.
 
Result: The requirements by NADBank will be met and the application will be considered for funding.
