Discussion and possible action to submit the FY 2026 Federal Application 5311 Federal Rural Public Transportation Grant by the Webb County Community Action Agency to the State of Texas through TGEMS, (TxDot website) in the amount of FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND TWO DOLLARS ($550,302.00) acting through the Texas Deapartment of Transportation wherein Webb County El Aguila Rural Transit will be applying by meeting desired deadlines, and designating the Webb County Judge as authorized official in all matters pertaining to this grant; and any other matters incident thereto. This grant does not require a cash match, and thus will have no impact on the General Fund.  All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department for review and was found to be compliant with the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) policy. Issue: El Aguila Rural Transit is a grant funded agency.

Solution: Through the authorization by the Commissioners' Court to submit this grant application, El Aguila Rural Transit will be able to receive these grant funds.

Result: Approval of the submission of this application will ensure the continuation of transportation services to the rural areas of Webb County.
