Discussion and possible action to enter into a Contractual Agreement with SIMA Contractors, LLC involving the removal and installation of tile flooring (Renovation Project) for the Justice of the Peace Precinct 2, Place 1 office in the amount of SEVENTY SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($76,800.00) and any matters incident thereto, and authorizing the County Judge to execute all relevant documents. Issue: The office of the Justice of the Peace Precinct 2, Place 1 is in need of new tile flooring.  The Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to send out an "Invitation to Bid ("ITB") 2024-007 for such work.

Solution: At the Commissioners Court Meeting of July 8, 2024, the court awarded ITB 2024-007 to SIMA Contractors, LLC to do the renovation work (removal and installation of tile flooring).

Result: The Contractor will substantially complete the project within 90 calendar days from the Issuance of the "Notice to Proceed" by the engineering department.

The Office of the Justice of the Peace Precinct 2, Place 1 is in need of new tile flooring. The Commissioners Court authorized the Work to be undertaken by SIMA Contractors, LLC at its July 8, 2024 meeting.
