Discussion and possible action to authorize the development and submission of the Methodist Healthcare Ministries-Community Investment Grant for up to $250,000.00 and authorizing the County Judge to act as the County's Executive Officer and Authorized Representative in all matters pertaining to the County's participation in the Community Investment Grant. Issue: There is an undeniable and pressing need to enhance economic mobility through demanding occupation skills training tailored for veterans, guardsmen, and their families.

Solution: Obtain court approval for the submission of the Methodist Healthcare Ministries-Community Investment Grant application.

Result: If awarded, funding will provide CDL education and certification to veterans, guardsmen, and their families, as well as to all other active and retired members of the US armed forces.
