Discussion with possible action to authorize the installation of netting around the perimeter of the driving range at the Casa Blanca Golf Course, in an amount not to exceed $135,000, and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-1130-001-431007-010 (Operational Reserve)]
Issue: The current setup at the driving range at Casa Blanca Golf Course allows for golf balls to be launched onto the golf course which results in the loss of hundreds of range balls throughout the year.
Solution: Installing perimeter netting around the driving range will allow for all range balls to be accounted for and properly retrieved.
Result: Expenses on range balls will be reduced and will allow for the proper recycling of range balls for future use.
