Discussion and possible action to enter into a two (2) year (October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2026) "Employee Assistance Program Services Agreement" with Deer Oaks EAP Services, LLC to provide counseling services for Webb County employees at a cost of One Dollar Forty-Three Cents ($1.43) per employee per month with an amount not to exceed Twenty-Six Thousand Five Hundred Forty-Six Dollars Fifty-Two Cents ($26,546.52) per year for said services throughout the two-year term of the Agreement subject to annual budgetary funding, and authorizing the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: On July 22, 2024 (item 14 a) the Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit a request for proposals for Employee Assistance Counseling Program Services as the current service provider (Deer Oaks EAP Services, LLC) agreement expired on September 30, 2024.
 
Solution: At its commissioners’ court meeting of September 23, 2024, the Court awarded Request for Proposal (RFP) 2024-011 “Employee Assistance Program Service Agreement” to Deer Oaks EAP Services, LLC.
 
Result: Approving a contract with Dear Oaks EAP Services, LLC will allow Webb County Employees to continue to receive counseling services from Deer Oaks EAP Services, Inc. as Deer Oaks continues to provide uninterrupted counseling services.

Webb County provides counseling services to its employees through a 3^rd party vendor.
 

On July 22, 2024 (item 14 a) the Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit requests for proposals for Employee Assistance Counseling Program Services for its employees pursuant to Texas Local Government Code §262.030 (Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedure for Certain Goods and Services).
