Discussion and possible action to authorize a one-time exception to the Webb County Budget Policy and to approve, by Order, the following budget amendment (line item transfer) within the General fund:
Issue: Webb County recently purchased four (4) fire engine units and one (1) tanker, although they currently have liability coverage, our consultant has recommended we insure these assets for physical damage insurance coverage.
Solution: Approve line-item transfer to acquire additional insurance coverage for the five (5) fire units.
Result: Approval of the line-item transfer will result in acquiring for physical damage insurance coverage for five (5) fire units.
