Discussion and possible action to ratify an extension to the IGSA 70DCR18DIG000010 from March 14, 2025 to September 14, 2025 with the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“I.C.E.”) and Corecivic for the detention of federal inmates/detainees at the Laredo Processing Center (owned and operated by Corecivic) which is currently under renewal and Federal Request for Proposals Process; and authorizing the County Judge to sign any and all relevant documents and any other matter incident thereto. On February 26, 2018 Item No.22 the Webb Commissioners Court authorized the Civil Legal Division to enter into negotiations and enter into an agreement pursuant to Tex. Gov. Code 272.005.  Pursuant to IGSA Contracts 70DCR18DIG000004 and 70DCR18DIG000010 Webb County is a Service Provider for Federal detainees. CoreCivic is the current subcontractor and owner of the Webb County Detention Center (WCDC) and the Laredo Processing Center (LPC).
