Discussion and possible action to approve an 8-month agreement (effective December 1, 2024 to August 31, 2025) between Webb County for the benefit of the Webb County Court-at-Law II DWI Court Program and Amistad Consultation and Evaluation Services in the amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00). Amistad Consulting and Evaluation Services are listed in each grant for a total of ($8,000.00 each). Dr. Todd Russell and Drew Russell will service the DWI & Juvenile Drug Court Programs team to have access to professional evaluation of the court and consulting; as listed and approved on the grant's application through The Office of the Governor, Specialty Courts Grant Program (Grant #5091201 & Grant #5091601) and authorize the Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. [DWI Court Account #2708-2070-001-432001; Juvenile Drug Court Account #2709-2070-001-432001] 

Issue: Webb County Court-at-Law II operates The DWI & Juvenile Drug Courts programs.

Solution: Evaluation and Consulting services will assist the DWI & Juvenile Drug Courts team monitor grant's compliance.

Result: Obtaining the services by Amistad Consulting and Evaluation Services is a key component of grant requirements.

Webb County Court-at-Law II applied for state grants to expand DWI & Juvenile Drug Courts services on February 2024.  Webb County received notification of the award on November 4, 2024. Webb County Commissioners Court accepted the grants awards on November 12, 2024.
