Discussion and possible action to approve the execution of an upgraded Field System Software Maintenance, Votesafe & VEMACS Support agreement between Webb County and VOTEC Corporation (VOTEC Election Management and Compliance Systems) in the amount of Fifty-Five Thousand Five Hundred Thirty Six Dollars and Eighty Seven Cents ($55,536.87), plus the sum of Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty Dollars ($14,920.00) for the Field System Software Support for a combined total of Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Six Dollars and Eighty Seven cents ($70,456.87). The payment is for the October 1, 2024 through September 20, 2025 fiscal year support coverage period, and to approve by order a discretionary exemption in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code, Section 262.024 (Discretionary Exemptions)(a.)(7) an item that can be obtained from only one source and to further authorize the County Judge to execute all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
