Discussion and possible action to approve and adopt the Self-Help Center (SHC) Housing Rehabilitation/Reconstruction and New Construction Guidelines for SHC Contract Number(s) CSH23-0520 and CSH24-0168. All grant documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and this solicitation is compliant with Single Point of Contact (SPOC) Procedures. This agenda item concerns compliance with state grant regulations; and, thus, there is no financial impact to the Webb County budget.
Issue:Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) requires grantees to adopt housing assistance program guidelines for awarded contracts.
Solution: Webb County Commissioner's Court approves and adopts the housing assistance program guidelines.
Result: Webb County will be in compliance with TDHCA program requirements.
