Discussion and possible action to enter into an Interlocal Agreement (on behalf of the District Attorney) with Zapata County (for the Zapata County Sheriff) for the loan/transfer of law enforcement equipment (Tasers) for a term of six months commencing on April 28, 2025 with a transfer of the equipment upon the expiration of the agreement and any matters incident thereto; authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. [No effect on the County budget]

Issue: The Webb Zapata District Attorney desires to loan and transfer certain law enforcement equipment to the Zapata County Sheriff.

Solution: Enter into an Interlocal Agreement to effectuate the loan/ transfer of the equipment.

Result: Effective loan/transfer of equipment to the Zapata County Sheriff.

The Court has previously authorized the purchase of the equipment with District Attorney Foreiture Funds.
