Discussion and possible action to approve Contract Amendment No. 1 to include a budget and narrative modification for the El Cenizo Street Improvements Project with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) under the Fiscal Year 2024 Economic Development Initiative (EDI) - Community Project Funding (CPF) to include material testing for the project. Authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters thereto. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the request complies with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures.  There is no impact on the general fund.

Issue: Narrative and budget modifications are needed to include material testing as recommended by the Engineering Department.

Solution: Authorization to amend the contract and modify the budget in the aforementioned account.

Result: The contract will be amended, and the budget will be modified.
