Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of one (1) 2023 Base Model Lone Star Promaster 3500 3.6L V6 Front Ramp Full Size Conversion Van from Model 1 (State Oklahoma Interstate Cooperative Contract # SW0797C FY2025) for a total amount not to exceed $142,947.00 for the Webb County Community Action Agency El Aguila Rural Transportation Program pursuant to Section 271.101 and 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing Program; and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2661-7110-521-470000 (El Aguila Rural Transportation-Operating Expenditure-C.A.A.-Capital Outlay)]

Issue: Grant funding is available for the purchase of one (1) 2023 Base Model Lone Star Promaster 3500 3.6L V6 Front Ramp Full Size Conversion Van to be utilized by the Webb County Community Action Agency, El Aguila Rural Transportation Program.

Solution: Authorize the purchase utilizing cooperative pricing through The State of Oklahoma Contract.  Texas Local Government Code - cooperative purchasing rules permit the use of other State's cooperative contracts. The estimated time of delivery is 30–45 days from receipt of the Purchase Order. 

Result: If approved, the grant-funded vehicle will enhance community outreach services to Webb County citizens in need of transportation and in accordance with El Aguila's Rural Transportation Guidelines.
