Discussion and possible action to approve and execute the FY - 2026 State 5311 Rural Public Transportation application from Webb County Community Action Agency to the State of Texas through TGEMS (TxDot) website in the amount of THREE HUNDRED FOURTEEN AND THREE DOLLARS ($314,003.00) acting through the Texas Department of Transportation wherein El Aguila will be approving and executing through meeting of the desired deadlines, and designating the Webb County Judge as the authorized official in all matters pertaining to this grant; and, any matters incident thereto. This grant does not require a cash match, and thus will have no impact on the General Fund.  All required documentation has been submitted to the Economic Development Department for review and was found to be compliant with the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) policy. Issue: Rural Transportation is a grant-funded agency 

Solution: Through the authorization by the court to approve and execute the state application, Webb County will allow the department to receive the funds.

Result: Approval and execution of the contract will ensure the continuation of transportation services to the rural areas of Webb County.
