Discussion and possible action to accept the rankings and award RFP 2026-009 Webb County Jail Intercom System to the highest-ranking offeror - Cornerstone Detention Products, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $473,418.31 (includes P&P bonds) pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code; Section 262.030 (Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedure for Certain Goods and Services) and to further authorize General Counsel to prepare the contract for the published scope of work and awarded sum and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-4070-001-470000 (General Fund-Sheriff Jail-Administration-Capital Outlay)]
 
Issue: Webb County Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit formal proposals for the upgrade of the Jail Intercom System; a total of three proposals were submitted by deadline.  
 
Solution: Consideration to accept the rankings and award to the highest-ranking offeror for the requested equipment / services needed by the Webb County Jail and in order to comply with TCJS.
 
Result: If approved, General Counsel will prepare the purchase and installation agreement between Webb County and the awarded company subject to any negotiated terms and conditions.
