Discussion and possible action to approve a contract between Webb County and Willo Products Company (State of Utah Cooperative Contract #MA4894) for the retrofitting of twenty-seven (27) Jail Cell doors, controls and related components to include required performance and payment bonds for an amount not to exceed $342,919.00 (includes P&P bonds) pursuant to Section 271.101 and 271.102 of the Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing Program; and to further authorize General Counsel to prepare a contract for the awarded services and contract sum and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-4070-001-470000 (General Fund-Sheriff Jail-Administration-Capital Outlay)]
 
Issue: The Webb County Jail's cell block doors are outdated and require upgrades to include the controls. The scope of work includes, but not limited to, the retrofit of sliding door devices and controls for approximately twenty-seven (27) cell doors.

Solution: Consideration to approve the cooperative price proposal from Willo Products Co. It is the recommendation from Jail Management and the Purchasing Agent to award the project to Willo Products Company, which is the same vendor that previously fabricated, delivered and installed the prior phase of upgrades to Jail Cell doors.  
 
Result: If approved, General Counsel will prepare the contract between Webb County and Willo Products Company for the awarded sum.
