Discussion and possible action to approve the renewal of the Excess Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Insurance Policy with Safety National Casualty Corporation and authorize the Webb County Judge to sign any relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto.
Issue: The County's Excess Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability Insurance policy is due for renewal. Safety National Casualty Corporation has offered to renew the policy at the same rate, terms, conditions, and policy limits currently in effect.
Solution: Approve the policy renewal and authorize the County Judge to execute the necessary renewal documents. The renewal premium will be paid from the approved Risk Management insurance budget.
Result: Maintains uninterrupted excess workers' compensation coverage while preserving the County's existing rate, coverage terms, conditions, and policy limits.
