Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise a Request for Proposal to solicit a highly qualified individual / group to provide special event decorating services at the existing 1848 Pavilion facility to include but not limited to in person support, implementation of special event design concepts and event-related vendor management services consistent with the goals and discretion of the Webb County Commissioners Court and in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; §262.030 (Alternative Competitive Proposal Procedures for Certain Goods and Services) and any other matters incident thereto [Account #2031-1010-001-432001 (Webb County Fairgrounds - Professional Services)]
 
Issue: The 1848 Management team is in need of a qualified individual / group that has the capacity and knowledge to provide special event decorating services for the Webb County 1848 Pavilion facility. 
 
Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to advertise a formal Request for Proposal which would allow interested parties to submit their sealed proposals for the services being requested based on price and other published criteria.   
 
Result: Secure formal sealed proposals as authorized and return to Commissioners Court with recommendations for selection of most qualified.
