Discussion and possible action to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Texas Military Department (TMD) and Webb County, Texas, on behalf of the Webb County Sheriff's Office (WCSO), regarding range facility use for state weapons qualifications. This MOU becomes effective on the date of the final signature and remains in effect for one year unless terminated earlier. The MOU may be renewed by written agreement of both parties. This MOU does not obligate funds; therefore, there is no impact on the General fund.

Issue: The Texas Military Department (TMD), an agency of the State of Texas, desires to use the premises for state weapons qualification, firearms sustainment training, and related safety activities in support of state mission requirements. This MOU is intended to support qualifications on state-issued or state-authorized weapons only.
