Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to add (2) new cell phone lines, including data service, in accordance with the current approved AT&T FirstNet Plan to the Webb County Tax Assessor-Collector department pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 272.102, Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program DIR Agreement TELE-CTSA-002 at a monthly rate of $40.99 per line, plus surcharges and other fees; and subject to annual budgetary appropriation; and authorize the County Judge sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: The Webb County Tax Assessor-Collector Department requires two additional cellular lines to support operational communication needs for the IT Department and Scofflaw Department.

Solution: Authorize the addition of two (2) new cell phone lines, including data service, through the County’s existing AT&T FirstNet Plan. One line will be assigned to the IT Department and one line will be assigned to the Scofflaw Department.

Result: The additional cellular lines will provide reliable mobile communication and data connectivity, allowing the IT and Scofflaw Departments to improve responsiveness, accessibility, and efficiency in carrying out their departmental responsibilities.
