Discussion and possible action to approve an increase in the hourly rate of two (2) grant-funded employees under Justice for Families-Safe Haven to $22.30 and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #2611-2520-001-410000 (OVW JFF Safe Haven)]
Issue: The employees are currently funded through OVW Justice for Families-Safe Haven in the positions of Program Coordinator/Visitation Monitors and perform duties that support the objectives and requirements of the grant. The requested salary adjustment is intended to ensure that compensation is consistent with the level of responsibility and work being performed while supporting the continued success of the grant program. The proposed increase will be funded through the grant, subject to final grant approval, and the adjustment will not require an increase in the General fund expenditures.
Solution: Approval of the current rate to the proposed rate.
Result: Increase in the salary for the two positions with the increase to be funded through the applicable grant funds.
