Discussion with possible action to amend the current professional services contract with Angel Care Ambulance for an additional $45,000 to allow for the insurance coverage for the additional ambulance provided to Webb County at the Southern Fire Station; and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-5370-001-463535 (Emergency Medical Service)]

Issue: Webb County has requested that additional insurance coverage be held by Angel Care Ambulance and has approved this additional expense to be reimbursed to Angel Care by Webb County.  The addition of an other ambulance has required additional premium for the requested coverage.

Solution: Reimbursement of additional premium to Angel Care will be processed once the contract is amended to allow for additional coverage.

Result: Angel Care will be reimbursed for this additional coverage requested by Webb County.
