Discuss, consider and approve renewal of Department of Information Resources Customer Agreement from Verizon Wireless for provision of wireless air services for the Wireless Communications Department.
Background
Wireless Communications Department originally entered into a Customer Agreement with Verizon Wireless, November 15, 2015, under DIR-SDD-1779 dated March 21, 2012 for MIFI services. Verizon Wireless has since renewed their State of Texas DIR agreement April 27,2016. In the fall Verizon Wireless began notifying their customers requesting that each entity under customer agreement must sign a current agreement under the new DIR number (DIR-TSO-3415).
