Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for Constable Precinct 2.
 

On June 30^th, 2017, a Writ of Sequestration was issued by Justice Court Precinct Two requiring the Precinct 2 Constable’s Office to seize, move and store all furniture and other items named in the order from a residence and hold them until a hearing awards the items to one of the parties in the suit.  This necessitates our office obtaining the services of a bonded moving company and storage facility to move and store the seized property.  By law, the party awarded the property in the hearing would then be responsible for reimbursing our office for the total funds expended by our office for the moving and storage of the items.  This type of expenditure is not covered under any other budget line item therefore necessitating the fund transfer request.
