Background
7 bids were received and evaluated by HNTB for this Road Bond project. HNTB recommends award to the lowest bidder in the amount of $5,352,696.00 which is $214,866.57 below the Engineer’s Estimate, a cost savings of 3.9%. The bidding was competitive with the lowest six bidders being within 10% of each other. The project is expected to be complete within 180 working days of the start of the project.
