Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to recognize Cathy Atkinson as the recipient of Marillyn Albert Achievement Award from the Texas Association of Assessing Officers.

The Accounting manager for the Tax Assessor/Collector's office, Cathy Atkinson was recognized by the Texas Association of Assessing Officers (TAAO) by receiving the Marillyn Albert Achievement Award.  This Achievement Award is TAAO’s highest honor and is named in memory of their Past President and Executive Director, Marillyn Albert Harkins.  The Marillyn Albert award recognizes a TAAO member who consistently performs high quality work, is devoted to excellence and maintains a professional image.  This award was to be presented at the Annual Conference on August 29, 2017 in Corpus Christi however, due to Hurricane Harvey the conference was cancelled.
