Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving quote and services contract between Presidio Networked Solutions, LLC and Williamson County for Isilon G6 Replication under DIR contract # DIR-TSO-2634 in the amount of $592,083.88.
Background
This is a planned item that is the storage repository for all of the video generated by the in-car and body camera systems. It's needed in advance of the cameras to get set up and configured. This solution is the most cost-effective for the county and is able to scale up easily as needs grow. It includes 5 years of support on the hardware and software but we expect this platform to serve the County's needs for many years to come.
It is on State DIR contract, and is the lowest quote of several vendors. The manufacturer is Dell EMC, and the vendor is Presidio Networked Solutions, the County's partner for our Network and new phone system.
