Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between Stanley Convergent Security Solutions, Inc. and Williamson County for card reader installation not to exceed $6,071.05, pursuant to BuyBoard contract # 493-15 and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
This agreement is to add card readers to create a location accessible to deputies and EMS staff to exchange equipment at any hour in a secure locker system. This will enable deputies and EMS personnel to minimize downtime due to faulty hardware and keep departments from having to stockpile their own equipment as spare/swap units. The department point of contact is Richard Semple. This expenditure will be charged to P473 which was approved as a capital request for FY2018.
