Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the purchase from Environmental Haz/Mat dba/The Cleaning Guys, in the amount of $6,503.08 for fuel clean-up services, exempting this purchase from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024.(a)(2).
Background
Due to a diesel spill at the HEB Plus in Hutto, TX on June 24, 2018, The Cleaning Guys company was called to perform emergency clean-up services.The department point of contact is Marty Herrin. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0542.004100. Funding will be provided by line item transfer.
