Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase from Ward Septic Tank and Backhoe Service in the not to exceed amount of $28,000.00 and exempting this purchase from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(2) and 262.024(a)(3).

Background

The Williamson County jail kitchen primary grease trap is corroded and leaking in multiple areas. It is necessary to replace the tank to prevent further leakage as it cannot sufficiently be repaired. The department point of contact is Dale Butler. This expenditure will be charged to P411 whicha was approved as a capital request for FY2018.
