Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on Construction Change Directives Nos. 1 & 2 relating to the Agreement for Construction Services between Williamson County and L. Wallace Construction Co, Inc., being dated effective March 23, 2018, for Roof Reconstruction/Improvements for the Williamson County Jail (These Change Directives are being funded by 0100.1008.5300).
Background
Construction Change Directives No. 1’s scope is generally described as waterproofing concrete surfaces of North and South Rec Yards and re-caulking of joints, windows, door openings and penetrations through brick of North and South Rec Yards. Construction Change Directives No. 1 will increase the Contract Price by an additional $74,200.00 and increase the contract time by an additional 30 days.
Construction Change Directives No. 2’s scope is generally described as brick removal and through-wall flashing at Low Roof to the South Wall. Construction Change Directive No. 2 will increase the Contract Price by an additional $14,123.00 and increase the contract time by an additional 30 days.
Construction Change Directives Nos. 1 & 2 will together increase the original total Contract Price from $894,116.00 to $982,439.00 (an additional $88,323.00) and they will increase the number of days for Substantial and Final Completion by 60 days.
Construction Change Directives No. 2’s scope is generally described as brick removal and through-wall flashing at Low Roof to the South Wall. Construction Change Directive No. 2 will increase the Contract Price by an additional $14,123.00 and increase the contract time by an additional 30 days.
