Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on re-appointing Anne Cano, Dan Hejl and Irvin (Butch) Miller to the Emergency Service District (ESD) No. 3 Board with their term commencing effective on January 1, 2021 and continuing thereafter until December 31, 2022.

Emergency Services District (ESD) #3 Board Members Anne Cano, Dan Hejl and Irvin Miller's terms both expire on December 31, 2020.  This consent item is to re-appoint both of them to another 2-year term expiring on December 31, 2022.

Anne Cano has been a resident of Hutto for 12 years.  She is very active in the Hutto community having served for 9 years on the Hutto City Council and Economic Development Corp. She also serves with Hutto Has Heart and the Hutto YMCA Board.  Anne has been a realtor since 2007 and is a member of the Williamson County Association of Realtors Board.  She is also an adjunct professor at Temple College.  

Dan Hejl, P.E., R.P.L.S., AICP is a partner in Hejl, Lee & Associates, Inc. (HLA) located in Hutto since 1993. HLA currently represents approximately ten municipalities and five counties on their public works related projects.Hejl is a licensed professional engineer, registered land surveyor, and certified planner in general civil engineering practices with emphasis on public works projects.  

Irvin "Butch" Miller has over 40 years experience in the Fire Service.  Most recently he served as the Assistant Chief in Pflugerville from 2008-2010.  Miller is an instructor at Texas A&M San Antonio in Fire Service Technology.  He has been instructing at many colleges and universities since 1989.
