Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on appointing Mark Montgomery to the Weir ESD #6 board to fill the open seat left by the resignation of Dave Schumacher. The term is to commence immediately and continue until December 31, 2022.

Mark Montgomery has lived in the Weir ESD 6 community 15 years. He has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas and has 14 years of service with various state agencies. He worked five of those years with the Texas Water Rights Commission as Chief Accountant. Mark was also Manager/part-owner of a family business and involved in the daily operations for 12 years. Mark received his Masters of Education in the Guidance and Counseling program at Southwest Texas State and is now a Licensed Professional Counselor. He would like to use his talents to become more involved in his community and will serve as Treasurer at ESD 6.
