Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the agreement between Marriott International, Inc. d/b/a Sheraton Austin Georgetown Hotel & Conference Center and Williamson County for venue and catering services in the amount of $12,000.00 and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Approval of this item will support the mission of the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS). The WCRAS hosts an annual Furball event. The Furball event is a fundraising gala, the largest event of the year for the shelter, that raises funds for the Jail to Jobs program. This program has been a success in its inaugural year at the shelter. The event requires a venue, and food and beverage services to host 300 participants for the fundraising efforts. Three quotes were obtained for this purchase. Attached are the Sheraton Group Sales Agreement and Williamson County Addendum. Department contacts are Misty Valenta and Linda Gunter. This expenditure will be charged to 0546.0546.003670.
