Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Amendment No. 2 to the agreement between Benefitfocus.com, LLC as awarded under RFP #T2590, for Web Based Employee Benefit Enrollment with the transition cost of $10,320.75 and authorize execution of the agreement.

Benefitfocus.com, LLC has implemented a new Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance reporting tool.  The Human Resources Department (HR) seeks to transition from their legacy ACA compliance tool and transition to Benefitfocus’ ACA Compliance Solution, Powered by Tango Health.  This new tool will serve as a compliance solution in preparation of our 2022 ACA 1095C Forms.  Williamson County is required to provide all employees a 1095C Form, which reflects the employee’s enrollment and the number months as well covered dependents in a medical plan.  The Tango Health solution will also provide compliance reporting capabilities that HR currently does not have e.g., managing a look book period to ensure all eligible employees were offered medical coverage.  Williamson County will receive a credit towards the annual cost of the Tango Health platform of $6,179.25 already paid for toward the original legacy platform.  A balance due of $8,820.75 will be payable along with an estimated $1,500.00 deposit for postage to mail the ACA 1095C Forms for a total cost of $10,320.75 for this FY.  The funding source is 01.0885.0885.004911.
