Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the disposal of various county vehicles(s) and equipment assets through Auction including four (4) Crown Victorias, one (1) New Holland tractor, ten (10) Chevy Tahoes, two (2) Ford Escapes, one (1) Dodge Dakota and one (1) Dodge Ram 1500, pursuant to Tx. Local Gov’t Code 263.152.
Background
Please see the attached list for details. Currently, the County is going through the vehicle status change process as noted here. Due to the marketplace challenges in procuring new fleet vehicles, the Fleet Department will offline the vehicles and hold them in our auction area until our position of no-vehicle auctions changes.
