Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the agreement between Del Carmen Consulting, LLC and Williamson County for the Sandra Bland Act and the Texas Racial Profiling Law Compliance and Related Services for the Williamson County Sheriff's Office in the not-to-exceed amount of $8,000.00, and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4)., and authorizing execution of the agreement.

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. This independent quarterly audit and reporting service ensures that Williamson County remains in compliance with the racial profiling state law at all times. Agreement attached outlines the services to be provided.  This agreement will cover the one-year term for Fiscal Year 2023.  Legal, contract audit, and budget have reviewed this purchase.  This expenditure will be charged to FY23 01.0100.0560.004100. Department contact is Rebecca Rodriguez.
