Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving agreement #2023103 between Motorola Solutions, Inc. and Williamson County for the purchase of a HipLink backup server and support in the amount of $79,653.93, pursuant to DIR contract #DIR-TSO-4101, and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
This purchase is for a backup server and support for the paging software used by dispatch. This is currently the last critical technology piece that does not have a backup. HipLink is the primary method of dispatch for multiple county agencies, and the backup method for nearly all the rest. The quote is attached outlining the pricing for the server and support. IT, legal, contract audit, and budget have reviewed this purchase. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0523.005741 as per the FY23 budget. Department contact is Janessa Stephens.
