Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the closing of CR 129 and detouring traffic during construction of the CR 129 Project, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Precinct 4.
Background
The proposed detour of CR 129 is necessary to reconstruct the roadway and will last approximately 203 days. It will require drivers to detour 23,000 ft west to CR 137. TxDOT, the City of Hutto and Travis County staff have approved the detour and the City of Pflugerville was notified that work is planned within their ETJ. Adjacent property owners, Williamson County Emergency Communications, the US Postal Service, TxDOT, Travis County, City of Hutto and the City of Pflugerville will be notified, prior to any changes in the traffic pattern.
