Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving Agreement #2024134 between Motorola Solutions, Inc. and Williamson County for the purchase of additional HipLink licenses in the amount of $58,559.00, pursuant to DIR contract #DIR-TSO-4101, and authorizing execution of the agreement.

Background

HipLink is the primary method of dispatch for multiple Williamson County agencies, and the backup method for others. Approval of this agreement will allow Information Systems to purchase additional licenses for the HipLink paging software. This purchase is expanding HipLink from only notifying public safety to full-county employee notification, along with the support licenses. The agreement attached outlines the additions and prices associated. Funding Source is 01.0100.0523.003011 as per the FY24 budget. Department contact is Janessa Stephens. Motorola Solutions, Inc. is a publicly-traded company; therefore a Form 1295 is not required.
