Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approval of amendment/extension of Services Agreement for Jail Pharmaceutical and Supplies RFP T2585 until April 18, 2025, between Williamson County, Texas and MAO Pharmacy, Inc. D/B/A Westwood Pharmacy Clinical Services to support county jail operations and allow the county to go out for a new solicitation in this category of services and authorizing execution of the agreements.

This is a stop-gap measure that has the ability to extend until April 18, 2025, to allow the county to finalize a new solicitation for Jail Pharmaceuticals and Supplies or award the solicitation for Jail Medical Services. The amendment does not extend the date, but gives the County the ability to extend the date. The vendor has agreed upon the ability to extend (via Amendment), which will allow a renewal to the current contract, which was awarded in court April 18, 2021, to extend for another year or until the newly awarded solicitation is completed. The addendum also includes a Termination for Convenience Clause, so the county may terminate this contract at anytime if needed. Funding Source: 01.0100.0570.003307.
