Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding IFB #24IFB33 Construction of Bud Stockton at FM 487 Traffic Signal with Austin Traffic Signal Construction Co. Inc. (ATS) in the not-to-exceed amount of $553,983.00 and authorize execution of the agreement. Funding source is Road Bond P307.
Background
Williamson County sent out seven thousand four hundred and seventy-six (7,476) notifications with fifty-seven (57) document takers and received three (3) vendor submissions that were reviewed, and apparent low bid, Austin Traffic Signal Construction Co., Inc. (ATS) was found to be responsive and materially balanced. ATS has completed previous Williamson County Road Bond projects of equal scope of work. Based on the quality of work performed by the Contractor, and favorable working relationship with the county and its representatives, it is recommended that Williamson County award to Austin Traffic Signal Construction Co., Inc. this solicitation. Funding source is Road Bond P307 and HNTB is the point of contact.
