Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the disposal of county assets through trade-in (quote attached) pursuant to Tex. Local Gov’t Code 263.152(2) and the purchase of six (6) Ambulances – Wheeled Coach Ford F450 Type 1 from Siddons Martin Emergency Group, LLC in the amount of $2,068,658.00 through the purchasing Cooperative HGAC contract #AM10-23 (EMS) and authorize the execution of the purchase contract.

Background

The attached quote is for the purchase of six (6) EMS Ambulances for $2,068,658.00 with the trade in allowance of county assets unit numbers: ET1953, ET1789, ET1790, ET2003, ET1795 for $53,000.  In addition to an HGAC service fee of $1,000.00 which also applies.  The funding source is 01.0100.0540.005700, the Origination ID #1293, and the EMS point of contact is Mike Knipstein.
