Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a Two (2) Year Medical Equipment Maintenance Agreement for the EMS Department, in the amount of $293,668.20, to be billed annually in the amount of $146,834.10, between Stryker Sales LLC and Williamson County, exempting the purchase from competitive bidding under Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(7)(D) [Captive Replacement Parts or Components of Equipment] and authorizing the execution of this agreement.
Background
This is a comprehensive agreement with Stryker Sales LLC for Medical Equipment Maintenance. The Stryker Sales LLC equipment purchase was exempted by Commissioners’ Court on 01.24.23 under agenda item #37 and this is a continuation of the preventative maintenance agreement of that equipment, in the amount of $293,668.20, to be billed annually in the amount of $146,834.10.
