Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Statement of Work and contract #2025168 between Williamson County and CDW Government LLC to perform an External Network Penetration Test of Williamson County Technology for a total amount of $19,000.00, pursuant to Onmia National contract #R2210401, and authorize the execution of the purchase.

This statement of work is for an External Network Penetration Test for Williamson County technologies.  CDW Government LLC (CDW) through Black Hills Information Security (BHIS) will perform the PEN TEST to discover if Williamson County has any critical vulnerabilities within our systems.  Reconnaissance, vulnerability scans and testing of our assets, cloud configurations, exposed services, and login portals will be assessed.  Also, manual probing the in-scope networks to look for additional methods of entry or compromise not flagged by a scanner.  This will give Wilco a better understanding of any external threats to our County's network.  The funding source is 01.0100.0503.004100 for FY25.  Orig #2215.  This purchase has been approved by Budget, IT, Contract Audit and General Counsel.  Department Point of Contact is Rory Tierney. The vendor is publicly traded, therefore, a 1295 form is not needed.
