Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an Interlocal Agreement with Milam County, on behalf of the Milam County Sheriff's Office, to formalize interagency cooperation in narcotics investigations, tactical team responses, dive team operations and criminal interdictions with the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
Background
The ILA will enhance law enforcement capabilities between Williamson County and Milam County by sharing resources, personnel, and expertise to ensure public safety and the efficient execution of law enforcement duties among both jurisdictions. Milam County approved the ILA on March 20, 2025.
