Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 5 in the amount of $16,261.00 for Project 24IFB57 Ronald Reagan Blvd. Widening (Chasco Constructors) P: 336 Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order adds an item for the transition sections of the metal beam guard fence (MBGF) to the concrete rail at all the bridge locations. This item was left out of the plans and was discovered while reviewing RFI 44, which asks for clarification on the missing quantity between the C221 rail and the MBGF.  Please see attached Change Order for additional details.

This Change Order results in a net increase of $16,261.00 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $52,469,862.50. The original Contract amount was $52,159,299.00. As a result of this and all Change Orders to-date, $310,563.50 has been added to the Contract, resulting in a 0.60% net increase in the Contract cost. No additional days will be added to or deducted from the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
