Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the Addendum and Service Agreement #2025247 between Williamson County and Cequel Communications, LLC dba as Optimum Business for Internet Service for a monthly fee of $110.00 and an initial installation fee of $100.00, authorizing the execution of the addendum and service agreement and exempting the purchase from competitive bidding through Local Government Code 262.024 (7)(A)(c) electric, gas, power, water or utility services.

The approval of this Addendum and Service Agreement will benefit Williamson County by providing Optimum Internet service to the old Department of Public Safety (DPS) Office at 515 Pine Street, Georgetown, TX 78626.  Optimum is the preferred Internet provider for the County with the best value for Internet service.  The Business Optimum 500 package provides up to 500 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speeds with unlimited Optimum Wi-Fi access for up to 25 devices for a monthly fee of $110.00 per month as long as services are needed at this location.  The funding source for this is 01.0100.0560.004210 for FY25.  Origination #2750.  The department's point of contact is Virginia Johnson.  The vendor is publicly traded. Therefore, a 1295 Form is not needed.
